Linda Lee Yerkins March was born in Manhattan, raised in New York and Pennsylvania, a resident of Baton Rouge since 1992.

Linda enjoyed trips to the Gulf Coast with friends, shopping, and visiting with her grandchildren. She was an entertaining storyteller who had an infectious laugh and a colorful, unique life.

She attended Quakertown High School where she was the captain of the cheer squad, King’s College in Pennsylvania, and LSU where she earned her master’s degree in education. She enjoyed her teaching and administration career for over 25 years which included teaching at St. John in Plaquemine, serving as assistant principal at Our Lady of Mercy as well as principal at Sacred Heart and St. Isidore. She loved all of her students, fellow teachers, and administrators.

Linda is survived by her son B.G. March, daughter-in-law Cherie Harris March, daughter Suzanne March Williams, son-in-law Jason Williams and grandchildren Mary Preston and Brooks March, J.B. and Arden Williams, and brother Mark Preston.
