Linda Buras Snyder, age 78, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026.

Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose family meant the world to her. She was a strong and devoted mother who raised three tough boys and gave her family a lifetime of love, strength, and memories. Above all else, Linda cherished her grandchildren. She treasured every moment she could spend with them and was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved.

Linda is survived by her two children, Pete William Snyder and Billy Ray Snyder (Connie); six grandchildren, Dustin Snyder, Justin Snyder, Amber Snyder, Katelin Snyder, Niki Snyder, and Joseph Clark; fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janie, AnneMarie, and Theresa; along with many other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Snyder; grandchildren Lauren Snyder and Hunter Snyder; brothers Clyde, Jr., and Clay; and sister Juliette.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of her family.
