Lisa Kay Hutchinson McDonald, known to her grandchildren as “Bo-Bo,” 68, began her next great adventure on March 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and spontaneity.

Born on June 20, 1957, in Wiesbaden, Germany, Lisa never met a stranger and rarely followed a map. A true free spirit, she lived life entirely on her own terms and taught us all to appreciate beauty in the unexpected.

Lisa believed deeply in friendship, kindness, and simply enjoying the wind in her hair. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and caregiver, and she was a proud survivor of both breast cancer and a brain aneurysm. Lisa was truly one of a kind and left a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone she met.

Lisa leaves behind a son Joshua & Chrissy Hutchinson, and a daughter Jessi & Jeremy Arnold. Grandchildren Jeremy Arnold & Ariel, Kenneth & Lacy Arnold, Jarrett Arnold & Samantha, Tanner Hutchinson, Rylie Hutchinson, Great grandchildren Denver and Walker who will forever miss their “Bo-Bo”. She is also survived by her brother, Don Hutchinson; her sister, Patsy Landry; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband Robert “Big Mac” McDonald, parents Edward & Mary Hutchinson, sister Becky Turnage, brothers Eddie & David Hutchinson.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 38000 Joe Lee Road, Walker, LA 70785 on April 11th at 5pm. Attendees are encouraged to wear something Lisa would have worn and to share stories of her wild adventures.

In lieu of flowers, please do something kind for a stranger, plant a tree, partake in a party or take a road trip in honor of Lisa.

"Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts".
