Lisa Ann Veasey

Lisa Ann Henson Veasey, resident of Greenwell Springs, passed at the age of 57 on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She attended high school before going on to become a bus driver for First Student, as well as working with children with special needs. She was also a member of the Teamsters Bus Union. Lisa enjoyed going on vacations and spending time with her kids and granddaughter, as well as making bows and wreaths. Her pride and joy was her grandbaby Nataleigh Adon Tanner. She will be deeply missed by the many people that had the privilege to know and love her.

She is survived by her father Joe “Tippy” Henson, sons Garrett Veasey and Daren Tanner Jr., grandchild Nataleigh Adon Tanner, sisters Tammie Eastwood (Scott) and Renee Eastwood (Chris), brother Ricky Henson, nieces Alicia and Madison, and nephews Derek, Thomas, Tyler, and Dylan.

She is preceded in passing by her mother Dorothy Lou Whitehead Henson.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Veasey, Thomas Eastwood, Daren Tanner, Darren Green, Scott Eastwood, and Chris Eastwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Henson and Joe Henson.

A special thank you to Heart of Hospice for their love and care during this time, Robyn Kent, Ricky Henson, and especially Carl Dawayne Veasey. Thank you to Daren Tanner Sr. for his donation to Heart of Hospice as well.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
