Lloyd Hugh Bass, III

Lloyd Hugh “Bo” Bass, III, gained his eternal rest on January 8, 2026, at the age of 47. Born October 2, 1978, Bo lived a life marked by service, devotion, and quiet strength.

Bo was the beloved son of Lloyd H. Bass, Jr. and Rebecca Bass Reeves, and stepson of Jeffrey G. Reeves. He was a loving brother to Anna Bass Holland (Lane) and Christopher Cole Bass (Hailey). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd Bass, Sr. and Mary Bell Bass, Reginald A. Robinson and Sarah H. Robinson, and his brother, Market Emery Bass.

Bo was the devoted husband of Rose G. Bass and a proud, loving father to Lloyd “Cy” Bass, IV; Mya Bass; Matthew Bass; Layla Bass; Dylan Sandifer; Brittany Saiyan; and Jeremy Bertrand. He was also a loved Paw Paw to his grandchildren. His life centered around his family, and he lived each day in service to them, providing love, guidance, and unwavering support.

A gentle giver with a humble spirit, Bo was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. He grew up with a deep love for baseball and excelled as a pitcher for Walker High School, the Home Run Palace baseball team, and later at the collegiate level. Beyond the field, he loved the outdoors and found peace in the little things in life.

Professionally, Bo worked for more than 20 years as a Master Classman Water Restoration Specialist in the environmental industry, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to doing difficult work with care and dedication. He often worked extra jobs to provide the best life he could for his family. He was a mechanic and fixer, he'd take the old broken down things and give them life again.

Humbly, Bo loved the Lord. His faith sustained him through the hardest seasons of his life and was a steady source of hope, strength, and peace. We hope his quiet trust in God will leave a lasting example for all who knew him.

Services will be held Monday, January 12, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Walker, Louisiana.

Pallbearers will be Clyne Peak, III; Joal Peak; Ryan Caruso; Robbie Robinson; Patrick Hubbard; Christopher Cole Bass; Lloyd “Cy” Bass, IV; and Matthew Bass. Honorary pallbearers are Reese Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Phillip Robinson, Charlie Robinson, Aaron Robinson, and Blake Saiyan.

Bo’s life, though difficult, was a testimony of love, perseverance, humility, and faith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
