Lloyd Allen Hall

Lloyd Allen Hall, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Baker, Louisiana, on September 17, 2026.

Lloyd was a true country man through and through. He was the kind of man who was happiest with a little dirt under his fingernails, a project in front of him, and plenty of room to work. A skilled handyman, mechanic, and truck driver, Lloyd could fix just about anything that needed fixing. He was a hard worker who took pride in using his own two hands to get the job done.

When Lloyd wasn’t working, you could likely find him out on his tractor, tending to his property and enjoying the simple things that made life good. He didn’t need much to be content—just his land, his work, and the people he loved. Lloyd was a dependable man who believed in putting in an honest day’s work and taking care of what was his.

Lloyd was known for his offbeat sense of humor and his love of making people laugh. Though he will be deeply missed, Lloyd leaves behind a family who will carry his memory with them and remember the man he was and the love he gave.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Nancy Hall and Ashley Watt; his father, Quitman Hall; a stepson, Brian Clarke; five grandchildren, Franklin Watt, Elias Watt, Blaize Lively, Serenity Lively, and Calian Lively; two sisters, Dorene Regole and Denise Westmoreland; nieces, Brandi Colon and Christine Boyt McGregor; nephews, Caleb Scott, Jeremiah Struve, and Houston Westmoreland; and his devoted partner, Tammy Mitchell.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Karsten Hall; and his only brother, Kendall Hall.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, in the lessons he taught through the way he lived, and in the hard-working, country spirit he carried throughout his life.
