Loretta Michelli Garcia, age 84, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026. Her family is heartbroken, but comforted that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Loretta was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to caring for the family she loved fiercely. She was once asked what message she would want to leave her loved ones and her response was simply, "Love never dies".

Loretta is survived by her daughters: Debra Spedale Guilliams, Doreen Spedale Young, and Delinda Spedale Miley; her grandchildren: Chris Orillion, Wesley Orillion, Lesley Zeringue, Donna K. Shirah, Tabatha Lemoine, Heather Sanchez, Daniel Nealy, Jean Luc Wild, Clay Guillot, Christopher Miley, Cara Miley; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents: Frances Michelli Burns and Wesley Frank Michelli; two husbands: Edgar Spedale and Joaquin Garcia; two daughters: Donna Lemoine and Deanna Nealy, her brothers: Frank Michelli and Joseph Daniel Michelli; and her sister: Mamie Rose Priester.

Seale Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements and care. Visitation will begin in the funeral home chapel Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 10AM until time of service at 1PM. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
