Louis Nathaniel "Nathan" Anthony LaRue, 44, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at his home in Denham Springs surrounded by his family.

Nathan worked for several years with Rio Power Management and last served as the Vice President. If he wasn’t working he was fishing, playing his guitar and listening to music. But is true passion and love was spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tony LaRue; mother-in-law, Lana Mankin; and brother-in-law, Eden Levine.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jacquelyn LaRue; daughters, Trinity Mankin (Gage Baker) and Lana-Rose LaRue; son, Nathaniel LaRue; grandchildren, Ainsley-Rae Baker and Beau Baker; mother, Rose Newman; sisters, Tara Demand (Joe Demand) and Tracy Levine; nieces, Aiyana Levine, Annalisa Segura, Eden Levine and Hannah Black; nephews, Michah Levine (Danielle Levine), Israel Levine, Caleb Ellis, Elijah Ellis, and Josh Ellis.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Rio Marine family and the RPM family for their kindness and love shown in this very difficult time
