Lynda Christine Spina Sagona, “Lynn,” passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Denham Springs, Louisiana, at the age of 59. She was born on Monday, August 17, 1964, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Lynn enjoyed spending time with her family; she loved animals, gardening, cooking, and music. Lynn is survived by her fiancé, Todd Teal; her daughters, Erica Sagona (Ramon), Ashley Stanley, (Judd), Cheryl Teal, (Theo); mother, Carolyn Mixon, and stepmother, Margie Spina. grandchildren, Baylon, Cameron, Brooklyn, Eliana, Victoria, and Paisley; siblings, Jo Carol Hutson, and Allen Spina (Chaia); ex-husband, John Sagona; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Spina; stepfather, Joseph Gilbert; sister, Kristy Gilbert; and brother-in-law, Richard Hutson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Seale Funeral Home – 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and the service will follow at 7:00 p.m. In remembrance of Lynn’s life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, plants may be sent or donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
