Marcia Gail Cody Fauver

Marcia Gail Cody Fauver, born on March 19, 1964, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and warm presence left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

From an early age, Marcia embraced life with a kind heart and countless smiles. She found great joy in the little things, particularly fishing, which brought her a sense of peace and tranquility. She deeply cherished each of her grandchildren and delighted in sharing with them, not just time, but stories, laughter and love. When she was ready to wind down from the day, you could often find her doing one of her favorite word searches. Her loving and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Marcia is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jessica Fauver Semons (Todd) and their children Presley Fauver, Tristan Semons, Ayden Semons, and Avery Semons; Marissa Abigail Fauver (Chase Elgin) and their child, Ashton Elgin; and her son, Jacob Fauver (Bree Aillet) and their children Shane Fauver and Bear Kersh; her brothers, John and David Cody; nieces, Misty Sharpe and Christy Cody, and nephew Matt Cody.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Eugene Cody, and her nephew Josh Cody.

Services will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Monday April 27, 2026 with visitation from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM and service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Fitch, Presley Fauver, Tristan Semons, Ayden Semons, Chase Elgin and Matt Cody. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Fauver and Avery Semons.
