Margaret Ruth "Maggie" Browne

Margaret Ruth “Maggie” Browne, 66, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2026. 

Maggie went to Cosmetology School and worked in Kansas City shops in Crown Center, Westport and the Plaza doing hair. She then moved to Louisiana in 2000 and began her work in retail.

Maggie was a loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed dearly by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Patrick “Jack” Browne and Ruth Marie O’Gara Browne; and three siblings, John Patrick. “Jackie”

Browne, Jr., Michael Joseph “Mikie” Browne, and Gina Marie Browne.

Maggie is survived by her sisters, Jill Gaines of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Tricia Campbell of Bolivar, Missouri.
