Mark Sharmon Alexander was born February 8, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away September 23, 2026. He grew up in Texas but was a longtime resident of French Settlement, Louisiana.

Mark proudly served in the United States Army as an EOD Specialist and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked as a Site Manager for various companies over the years, but had been working for HPC Industrial most recently.

Mark was a devoted husband and father and to his family he was, "The Man, The Myth, and The Legend" or just Marky Mark. He never met a stranger because he definitely loved to talk. He was intelligent with a witty sense of humor. Mark was a hard worker and could fix just about anything. Some things he enjoyed doing were outdoor cooking, camping, fishing, hunting, and just spending time with friends and family. Nothing brought him greater joy in life than his granddaughters. They definitely adored him just as much as he adored them. He will be missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kimberly Bogy Alexander, daughter, Melissa Alexander Dupuy, son Kendyl Alexander, granddaughters, Aubrey and Addilynn Dupuy and numerous other family members.

Mark was preceded in death by his son, Keith Alexander, his father, Keith Alexander, mother, Oretha Rogers Brock, step father, Billy Brock, Brother, Arnold Lynn Alexander, and Son-in-Law, Charles Dupuy.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
