Melissa “Missy” Lea Wise

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected death of our mother, Melissa “Missy” Lea Wise, 63, who sadly passed away on December 25, 2023, at her residence, in Walker, Louisiana. Melissa is preceded in death by her husband, James Wise, Jr., her brother, Gerald Bordelon, and her great-grandson, Ky Veronie. Missy is survived by her mother, Alethea Bordelon, her father, Gene Bordelon (Kathy), her sister, Cindy Landry (David), Three (3) daughters; Christine Scott (Trey), Jessica Scott (Jeremy), Amber Wise (Jason), and her only son, Jason Scott (Kim). Missy’s grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored, Brandon Veronie, Jr., Christian Tyler Sanders, Caleb Scott Sanders, “Claire Bear” Landry, Carter Paul Scott, Miss Sophia Landry, Jason Donahue, Jr., and Adaline Donahue will miss their Maw Maw tremendously. A Celebration of life is being held Friday, January 5, 2024 at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. with service at 6:000 p.m.
