Melody G. Broussard

Melody G. Broussard passed away on June 10, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 26, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Shreveport and was a resident of Baton Rouge. She is preceded in death by parents, Lewis and Helen Gillespie; four sisters; and two husbands, Arthur B. Guerra and Joseph M. Broussard; and one stepson.

She is survived by her three children, Hellen. W. Hudson, Sheri G. Morgan, and Jeff A. Guerra; three stepchildren, Stacy Broussard, Bobby Broussard and Judy B. McGeehee; special friend Lewis Territo; one sister; proud grandmother of 10; and great grandmother of 18.

She lived a wonderfully active life that included dancing and card groups. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on June 21, 2025 at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs from 2:00 PM until the Memorial Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.
