Merrill M Braud

Merrill M. Braud, 72, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at his home in Central, Louisiana. Merrill worked for many years as an Underground Utility Locator before retiring. He enjoyed sharing his love of sports an music with his family and friends over the years. But his true joy was time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Myrtle Braud; and his brother, Brent Braud.

Merrill is survived by his wife of 30 years together and 12 in marriage, Cindy Braud; daughters, Valerie Little, Alicia Mire, Amy Gerage, and Amber Mire; sons, Jeremy Golden, and Taylor Braud; grandchildren, Damon, Andrew, Matthew, Brendyn, Owen, Sarah, Ava, Everlee, and Morgan; great-grandchild, Artemis; sister, Jackie Bergeron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Farrell with Pinnacle Hospice, who went above and beyond to treat them like family and not as a patient or job to do.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with his friend and favorite music.
