Michael Elmore Kilcrease, Sr.

Michael Elmore Kilcrease Sr. passed at the age of 76 on August 29, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1949 in Magnolia, Mississippi to his parents Henry Clayton and Emily Lea Kilcrease. Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam for his country. He worked as a Process Operator at the ExxonMobil Refinery of Baton Rouge, LA for many years. He enjoyed spending his time with his kids and grandkids, hunting, bowling, and golfing. He will be dearly missed by the many people who had the privilege to know and love him.

He is survived by his spouse of 57 years Cynthia Sharon Kilcrease, daughter Kimberly S. Fergeson, sons Michael E. and Douglas W. Kilcrease, grandchildren Kristyn Palmer, Gage Kilcrease, Alexandra Tate (Dawson Tate), Jared Kilcrease, Cade Fergeson, Brynlee Fergeson, and Brody Fergeson, great-grandchildren Noelle, Carson, Crew and Asher Kilcrease, Beckham, Brookland and Bensyn Tate, sister Siri Pizzolato (Joey Pizzolato), brother Steven Kilcrease, and other family and friends Cindy DeLaune Kilcrease, long-time friend and hunting buddy, Dalton Deville, and dancing partner, Barbara LeBauve.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Clayton and Emily Lea Kilcrease, brother Ricky Kilcrease, and nephew Joey Pizzolato Jr.

Pallbearers will be Gage Kilcrease, Jared Kilcrease, Clay Kilcrease, Cade Fergeson, Brody Fergeson, and Dawson Tate. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Kilcrease and Douglas Kilcrease.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston, LA (20335 Texas St, Livingston, LA 70754) on Saturday, September 6 from 9:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service starting at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in French Settlement (15710 LA-16 French Settlement, LA 70733).
