Michael Robert Kreko

Michael Robert Kreko, 73, a native of Albany, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home in Walker, Louisiana.

Michael enjoyed reading, traveling, and cooking, but his love was driving his little red Corvette. Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul “Bobby” and Edith “Ida” Kreko.

Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Kreko; children and their spouses, Amber and Michael Sciavicco, Karin and Kyle Trammell, and Brent and Mikah Kreko; grandchildren, Merrin Kreko and Parker Sciavicco; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Michelle Kreko; brother-in-law, Mark Wells; nieces, Isabella Kreko and Shannah Dauzat; and nephew, Ian Kreko.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Saturday, January 10, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
