Michael Medlock

Michael “Mike” Beaman Medlock, resident of Denham Springs, he was born May 7, 1956, passed away on September 22, 2026. Born in Alabama, Mike proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Although Alabama was his birthplace, Mike was a devoted LSU fan who especially loved basketball. He also enjoyed sports himself, playing football during his high school years. Mike was a talented handyman who could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed him. In his younger years, he especially enjoyed working in his family’s chicken business.

Mike often spoke fondly of his childhood, which was filled with family and togetherness. He was raised with a deep respect for his parents and strong family values that stayed with him throughout his life. Those values helped shape him into the devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather he became.

Patient, gentle, and easygoing, Mike truly loved people. He was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and supporter, always encouraging those around him and celebrating their accomplishments. He put his family first in everything he did and was never one to speak badly of anyone. His kindness, patience, and genuine love for others were simply part of who he was.

Mike also shared a love of photography with his wife, and together they owned and operated a photography business. More than anything, Mike will be remembered for the way he loved and supported his family. He was a steady presence, a constant encourager, and a man who found great joy in seeing the people he loved happy and successful. His legacy will live on through the family he treasured and the many lives he touched with his kindness and unwavering support.

Mike is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Medlock; children, Chris Medlock (Telly), Bryan Medlock (Jaime), and Ainsley (Jeremy); grandchildren, Kaylee, Beau, Daylin, Rayna, Lakeley, and Deklan; brother-in-law, Carter Miller; nephew, Jimi (Jen); and a host of long-term friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Beaman Medlock and Marcella Thomas Medlock; sister, Sandy Miller; and brother, Ronald Terrell “R.T” (Paula).

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA on Sunday, October 4, 2026 for a visitation starting at 12:00 PM until the memorial service at 3:00 PM with military honors.
