Michael Paul Green, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away at the age of 42 on December 2nd, 2025. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to his parents, Mike Green Jr. and Paula Graham Carbo on November 2nd, 1983. Michael was a master plumber and owner of Green’s Plumbing. He was a man who met the world with equal parts curiosity and passion. He was a deep lover of family, films, music, and literature, and he carried an uncommon depth of insight across a remarkable breadth of topics: from ancient history and religion, to food and cooking. He was an extraordinary conversationalist and storyteller; with Michael, you didn’t just listen to a story, you somehow lived it with him. He loved boxing, LSU football, Goodfellas, and rock and roll. He loved to travel, and visited family from New York City to Los Angeles, always seeking new experiences and new ways of understanding the world. He loved animals. He cared for many dogs and once nursed an injured squirrel back to health with a sort of uncanny affection that defined him. Michael’s life was a mosaic of uncommon experiences—vivid, unpredictable, and fully lived. More than anything, he loved his two boys, Ethan and Carson, and he spoke about them with a pride and affection that anchored every part of his life. His family and friends will remember his sharp mind, his generous spirit, his humor, and the passion he brought into every room.
He is survived by his mother Paula Carbo; father and step-mother Mike and Nicole Green; grandmother, Gail Graham; beloved sons Ethan and Carson Green and their loving mother, Lindsey Shultz; sisters Jennifer McDaniel (Mike) and Melissa Williams (Justin); brothers Jason Green (Catherine), Jackson Green (Joanna), and Corbin Green; nieces Sydney, Taryn, Krysta, and Kaylee; nephews Chase, Parker, Cooper, Townes, and Shelby; aunts Rhonda Graham, Delia Graves (Timmy), Bly McCool (John Henry), Millie Boswell, and Sue Granite; and numerous cousins who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mike and Mildred Green; maternal grandfather Paul Graham; uncles Brett Graham, George O’Neal, Leroy Boswell, and cousins Stephen O’Neal and Dino Boswell.
Pallbearers will be Jason Green, Melissa Williams, Jackson Green, Corbin Green, Cody Allen, and Donovan Keller.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Vickers Cemetery in Walker.
