Michelle Rene Tullier

Michelle Rene Tullier of French Settlement, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the age of 59. She was born on May 2, 1966, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Michelle attended Southeastern Louisiana University before transferring to Spencer Business College where she earned her business degree. She would later receive her Real Estate license and built a successful career in property management.

A woman of many talents and interests, Michelle loved spending time with friends, the dance team, cheerleading, and beauty pageant during her younger years. Her love for antiquing, cooking, gardening, and music brought joy to her life and those around her. She also had a talent and passion for writing poetry.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Sydney Gascon and her father, Johnny Gascon; her son, Taylor Nelson and his father, Todd Nelson; her stepson, Brandon Gascon; her mother, Aylene Guitreau Small; her sister, Debra (David) Delatte; and her nephews, Dayne Delatte and Deryn Delatte.

She was preceded in death by her father, H.J. “Tookie” Tullier; her stepfather, Ronnie Small; and her stepmother, Ruby Castjohn Tullier.

Michelle’s warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love and creativity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement, Louisiana, beginning at 10:00 AM until Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial gifts for her daughter, Sydney’s college fund via her Godmother with check or venmo @Debra-Delatte.
