Myra Watson Brock

Mrya Watson Brock departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2026. She was born June 8, 1937 and was a life long resident of Walker, Louisiana. She graduated from Walker High School with the Class of 1955, afterwhich she went to work for Westinghouse Electric Supply Co. where she met the love of her life, Rodney Brock. The married in 1958 and had 56 wonderful years together.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Brock Freeland and husband, Scott; son, William R. “Bill” Brock; grandchildren, Ethan, Nolan, Erica, and Erin; great-grandchildren, Laiken, Leah, Brock, Waylan, and Zane; and sister, Marion W. Vorel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Brock; son, Andy Brock; parents, George and Ida Milton Watson; siblings, Elliott, Roy, Boyd, Clyde, Wilma, and Thelma.

A private graveside service will be held at Walker Baptist Church Cemetery for family and extended family. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews. There will be a fellowship following the service at Myra’s home in Walker.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walker Baptist Church Building Fund.
