Myra Gayle Holstein, resident of Denham Springs, passed away at the age of 60 on July 16, 2026. She was born in Morgan City, Louisiana to her parents Jimmie Lee Gamble and Shirley Wiggins Gamble on January 11, 1966. Myra attended LSU to obtain her bachelors before working with LUBA as the manager for premium audits and billing. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, photography, and watching movies. Myra was loved beyond words and will be deeply missed by the many people that had the privilege to know and love her.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Thomas G. Holstein III “Dugan”, sons Bailey Holstein, Carter Holstein, and Austin Holstein, grandchild Bailey Thomas Holstein Jr., sister Lisa Brock (Brandon), brother James Gamble (Tara), nieces Katie Brock and Riley Holstein, nephews Riley Brock and Mason Holstein, daughter-in-law Ashley Holstein, Grace Robinson, Lauren Holstein, Patrick Holstein, Betty Holstein, and Paige Holstein.
She is preceded in passing by her parents Jimmie Lee Gamble and Shirley Wiggins Gamble.
A special thank you to Our Lady of the Lake, friends, family, and LUBA Workers Comp for their abundance of love and care during this difficult time.
