NOLAN “RONNY” LAURENT HEBERT, JR.
DENHAM SPRINGS- Nolan “Ronny” L. Hebert, 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his daughter’s home in Denham Springs, LA. He was born July 9, 1943, in Baton Rouge, LA, son and stepson to Lois Lamm Bennett and Joseph Bennett, and Nolan L Hebert, Sr. of Port Allen, LA.
Ronny graduated from Denham Springs High School, class of 1961. He joined the United Sates Navy in January of 1964 as AR-HS Aircraft Engine Mechanic. He was honorably discharged in July of 1967 He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia “Ann” Spring Hebert in Denham Springs on May 7, 1966, and settled in Denham Springs. They celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Ronny was a construction worker and worked for Smith Building Supply for many years. He enjoyed building things and fixing up antiques when he and his wife opened up one of the first antique stores in downtown Denham Springs, now known as the “Antique Village.” Ronny was also employed by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. He began work in jail and over the years served as its warden from which he retired in 2005. He was also hunter and outdoorsman. But taking care and enjoying time with his family was the joy of his life.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife, Patricia “Ann” Spring Hebert, mother, Lois Lamm Bennett; sister-in-law, Janice Spring Gremillion; brother-in-law, Hart “Pete” Gremillion. Surviving in addition to his daughter, Tricia Hebert Cambre and her husband, Alton of Port Vincent; two grandchildren, Mallory D. Cambre and Lonyn C. Cambre, one great-grandson, Blake J. Cambre; one sister, Gayle B. Martin, and his husband, Butch. Many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Monday, September 22, 2025. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral service begins at 2:00p.m, burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
