Oran Dale Stephenson

Oran Dale Stephenson, resident of Denham Springs, passed at the age of 79 on December 6, 2025. He was born in Galveston, Texas to his parents Kenneth Stephenson and Moine Gilmore Stephenson on December 17, 1945. He worked as a bricklayer and safety agent in the refinery. Oran served his country in the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was happiest when fishing, playing the guitar, and dancing. He will be deeply missed by his family and those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters Alechia Stephenson, Delana Stephenson, and Erica James, sons Kenneth Stephenson and Nathan James, grandchildren Dale Stephenson, Kaleb Stephenson, Aaron Ballard, Theresa Mclain, Nathan James, Brittani Ivey, Brooklyn Stewart, and Breanna James, sister Becky Thomas, nieces Laila Stephenson, and nephews Aaron Stephenson, Kenneth Stephenson, and Wyman Stephenson.

He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Moine Stephenson, brother Rodney Stephenson, and wife Rita Shirey Stephenson.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a memorial service starting at 11:00am.
