Patricia (Patty) Argus, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on June 9, 2026. Born in St. Louis, Mo. on January 18,1942, she was the beloved wife of Ballard Argus for 59 years.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grammy, Great-Grammy, Aunt and Friend, whose love for her family knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, patience, kindness and countless cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts who knew and loved her. Patty will always be remembered for her love of Reading (especially reading with all of her Grandbabies and Great Grandbabies), Sewing; cross stitching was her go to passion, and her absolute love of baking!
She is survived by her husband Ballard Argus, her two children, Trish Hansen (Michael), and Bal Argus Jr. (Sarah). She was a proud and wonderful Grammy to five grandchildren; Kaylie (Josh Chandler), Ashleigh (Josh Edwards), Zachary (Gabby), Christopher and Alexander all of whom blessed her withendless amounts of love and laughter!
She was also blessed with four beautiful Great-Grandchildren and one on the way (Due Jan) Hadleigh, Cooper, Jackson, and Jordan each of whom brought immense joy to her life~ All were her Sunshine. Patty is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Helen Curran.
Though our hearts are broken and we are filled with immense sadness, we find comfort in knowing that Patty’s love, wisdom and gentle spirit will remain with us always. Her memory will continue to shine through the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who were blessed to know her. May we celebrate the life she lived, Honor the memories she leaves behind, and know that the love she shared will stay in our hearts forever.
