Patricia M. Cantu

Patricia was a creative person who wrote poetry and loved working beside her husband in a cabinetry shop. She enjoyed the process of taking wood from its raw form and producing something beautiful with her hands. More than that though, she was most pleased with her four children, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was affectionately called Mawmaw by some, Old Dog by others and still, Gigi by the rest. No matter what she answered to, she was the same fun-loving confidant to them all. She is loved greatly and will be missed terribly.

She was a member of Miracle Place Church and enjoyed attending but was faithful to watch online when she was unable to be present, always having a comment to let you know she was there. Her faith was an important center piece to her life and she drew strength from scripture with Psalm 23 being her favorite.

She is survived by a sister, Sharon Watkins (Fred), daughter Lila Sinclair (Ricky), son Ryan Roberts (Tessa), grandchildren Stirling Sinclair (Rileigh), Brittany Law, Kaylin Couvillon (Garrett), Kyle Robicheaux, Zachary Sinclair (Lorna), Karlie Law and Luke Roberts, and Kacie Secrest (Jacob), and great-grandchildren Lila Sinclair, Stirling Sinclair, Jr., Kaydance Law, Cael Couvillon, Corynn Couvillon, Kason Law, Maverick Sinclair, Eleanor Sinclair, Keilan Law and Banner Sinclair.

She is preceded in death by spouse Thomas Cantu, parents Claude and Lila Mullins, sister Rebecca Crone, and daughters Kelli Roberts and Kerri Roberts.

A celebration of life service will be held for Patricia and her husband Thomas Cantu at Miracle Place Church on October 2, 2026. Visitation at 11:30am. Service at 12:30pm.
