Patricia Ann Townsend

Patricia Ann Townsend passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on March 25, 1957, at the Baton Rouge General Hospital, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Patricia worked in the apparel department at Wal-Mart. In her free time she loved playing with her printshop, sewing, going to the boats and trying her luck at gambling, but most of all she loved to fish.

She is survived by her daughter Rosa Townsend; her sons, Clifford "Anthony" Townsend, Kyrus Washington and Eric Washington; her grandchildren, Leon D. Turner, Donovan D. Dunn, Damiene Townsend, and Sade Townsend; her great grandchildren, Kimam Ringo and Ja'sha Townsend; her sisters, Margaret Sideboard (Michael) and Bernice Williams (Curtis); brothers, Harvey Townsend (Jan), Reggie Townsend (Emma), Donald Ray Townsend (Carmen), and Lester Sanders (Denese).

Patricia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman Washington; her daughter, ShaShaun Townsend; her parents, Reggie and Jessie Mae Townsend; her brother, Daniel Sanders; her grandmother, Clara Frankie Sanders, and her best friend Diane Foster, who passed away in 2022.
