Patsy Averett Perkins

Patsy Averett Perkins, resident of Denham Springs, passed at the age of 82 on February 8, 2026. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 24, 1943 to her parents Dale and Juanita Averett. Patsy worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years. She enjoyed sewing in her free time and loved cooking above all else. She will be dearly missed by those that had the joy to know and love her.

She is survived by her sons Phillip M. Perkins and Ronnie D. Perkins, grandchildren Anna Carrington and Adam Perkins, step-grandchildren Brett Conrad and Josh Conrad, great-grandchildren Alexis Moore, Ryleigh Carrington, Blakely Carrol, Brenna Conrad, Colin Conrad, Belle Conrad, Hollis Conrad, Jace Conrad, Trae Conrad, and Beau Conrad, brothers Jimmy Averett and Donald Averett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in passing by her husband Sidney Perkins, father Dale Averett, and mother Juanita Rodriguez Averett.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 12pm to 2pm with a funeral service starting at 2pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
