On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Paul walked through those gates and entered his life everlasting. He will be sadly missed by his son River, daughter Ellie, and their mother Michelle, his brother, Will (Jessica), his niece Emma, and especially his mother Becky.
His memory celebration will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at his church – First New Testament at 3235 Aubin Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Time of service will be 10:30 am until 11:30 am.
Paul was proceeded in death by his father Tucker Lawrence, grandparents Herb and Betty Lawrence, and Watson and June Hodges.
Paul grew up in Saint Charles Parish, graduated from Hahnville High, then on to LSU for one year only to transfer to University of Louisiana in Lafayette, where he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music in the College of Arts, then a second degree in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in the BF Moody III College of Business Administration. Currently he was employed in the accounting department of Provident Resources Group, Inc.
The family would like to thank all the first responders who cared for Paul at the accident scene. Paul was an organ donor, so there were so man who are being helped by his generous end of life offering. Seale Funeral Home prepared him for services with kindness, gentleness, and dignity. Lastly, the faith community of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, you have truly shined bright as the Body of Christ. Your prayers have kept Paul’s family comforted beyond measure. You have eased our pain and grief through this difficult walk.
Rest in peace my son, my brother, and daddy. We love you and will keep you alive in our hearts, till we see you again one glorious day.
