Peggy Jo Dedon Stott

Peggy Jo Dedon Stott, born February 26, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Peggy was born to Hubert Dedon and Roxie Bass. She dedicated many years of her life to serving her community through her career with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, from which she retired.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Smith (Russell); brothers, Benjamin Patrick Dedon and Bob Dedon; and sister, Diane Marbury.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Stott; and numerous other family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Bowman Dedon Cemetery in Saint Francisville on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM.

Peggy will be remembered for the life she lived, the people she loved, and the many lives she touched throughout the years. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
