Peggy Swain-Blades, a resident of Walker, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026. She was born March 10, 1951 and was 75 years of age. She retired from the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Peggy is survived by her fiancée, James Quick; son, Shane Talbot; sister, Shellene Sibley; granddaughter, Angell Talbot; grandson in law, Lane Roberie; great-granddaughter, Emily Roberie; and great-grandson, Bryson Roberie.
Peggy is preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Beasley; parents, Johnnie and Violet Swain; and sister, Delores Swain-Stafford.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Mangum Chapel Methodist Church, 31366 Cane Market Rd, Walker, LA from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Graveside service to follow at Sibley Cemetery.
