Ralph Larry Moffett, III

Ralph Larry Moffett, III passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 74 years old. He was born on April 27, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was a graduate of Mansfield High school class of 1971. Larry was a film projectionist. He was one of the few remaining projection operators who would travel country to wherever traditional reels were still played. Larry is remembered for his love of car racing, tinkering, and watching ‘N.C.I.S.’

Larry is survived by his sons; Larry Wayne Moffett and Grady Wade Moffett; his sister, Susan Moffett Laborde; niece, Jenifer Laborde Bridges and her husband Anthony Bridges; great nephew, Dylan Laborde; and great nieces, Marlowe and Cora Bridges.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Editha Moffett; sister, Sharon Lee Moffett; and brother-in-law, Gerard Laborde.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave. Denham Springs, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Graveside services will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill North Cemetery, 8713 Stoddard St, Pleasant Hill, LA.
