Randy Scott Ardoin

Randy Scott Ardoin, born July 30, 1963, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, passed away on September 4, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 63. He was raised in Bayou Chicot.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed any opportunity to spend time outside. He also had a passion for cooking, especially when it meant gathering around good food with family and friends. Randy truly enjoyed the simple things in life—good company, laughter, and time spent with the people he loved most.

Family held a special place in Randy’s heart, especially all of his “babies,” as he lovingly referred to his nieces and nephews. He treasured each of them and the memories they made together. Randy’s love for his family and friends, along with his fun-loving spirit, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Randy is survived by his sisters, Brenda Ardoin Miller (Jules) and Sharena Slaughter; brother, Jody Ardoin (Crystal); nieces and nephews, Michele, Sarah, Ryan, Brittany, David, Lydia, Keirstin, Kaden, Kaven, Kaisley, and Kariel; and great nieces and nephews, Zackary, Ainsley, Aiden, Gavin, Guy, William, Kohen, Monroe and Grey.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, RL Ardoin and Georgia Fontenot Ardoin; and brother, David Ardoin.

A private memorial service will happen at a later date.
