Raymond E. Hanner, Sr. was born on September 14, 1958, in Clinton, Louisiana, and passed away on September 8, 2025, in Holden, Louisiana. He leaves behind a legacy rich with love, family, and a passion for life.
Raymond was known for his love of motorcycles and his exceptional skills as a mechanic. His adventurous spirit and dedication to his craft not only brought him joy but also inspired those around him. He found freedom on the open road and a sense of fulfillment in every car he worked on, sharing his passion with those fortunate enough to be part of his life.
He is survived by his spouse, Tina Villneuve; his sons Jason (Elke), Herman (Kaelyn), Brad (Makayla), and David (Destany). Raymond was a proud grandfather, cherishing the time he spent with his grandchildren; Trinity, Jason Jr., Jaxon, Jayden, Paislee, Samantha, Michael, Hunter, Savannah, Alissa, Kileigh, Trevor, Tot Tot, Bently, Avalynn, Amelia, Bradley Jr., Uriah, Madelynn, Sophia, Nathan, and Cameron. His family expanded even further with numerous great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. Raymond is also survived by his sisters, Violet Hanner and Yvonne Neal.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dora Hanner, who held a special place in his heart; his son, Raymond Hanner, Jr. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Partin, his father, Herman Hanner Sr.; his brother, John R. Hanner; and his sister, Wanda Hanner.
Raymond E. Hanner, Sr. will be remembered not only for his talents but for the unconditional love he provided to his family and friends. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Avenue, Denham Springs, LA on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Seale Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Beechridge Cemetery in Watson, Louisiana.
