Rebecca Holt Sharpe

Rebecca Holt Sharpe, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, educator, and woman of deep faith, passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1956 in Eldorado, Arkansas.

Becky was a proud graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. For over 25 years, she dedicated her career to teaching, touching the lives of countless students with her patience, kindness, and passion for learning.

A talented musician, Becky sang in the choir most of her life, her love of music was shown by participating in the community choirs and the choir at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. She was also a faithful Sunday School teacher, sharing her strong Christian faith with others.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clay and Anne Marie Holt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Sharpe; her daughter, Ashley Stark (Keith); her sons, Adam Sharpe (Ali) and Austin Sharpe (Beth); her cherished grandchildren, Bennett Judice, Haleigh Hart, Layla Sharpe, and Leif Sharpe; her sister, Karen Keeton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Becky’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bennett Judice, Steven Keeton, Thomas Naquin, Daniel Naquin, Leslie Sharpe, Corey Sharpe, and Mike Sommer.

 Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs, 27735 Hwy 16, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Brother Leo Miller. The graveside service and burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, in Denham Springs, LA.
