Renell Robert

“So beautiful”…two words that stayed on the lips of Renell Robert. Always.

Born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana to Dorothy and Lester, Rob loved all things Louisiana. From fishing and hunting to Robert Family luncheons, Tulane football to loving on his grandbabies, our Poppa had a heart to serve.

After graduating from Gonzales High School, Renell proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. A decorated, Vietnam veteran, he went on to study at Southeastern Louisiana University and was blessed to work with his brothers at Ciba Geigy/ Syngenta for over 30 + years.

Retirement brought “Mr Fix-It” to making broken things beautiful again. His passions were working in his yard, planting flowers and falling more in love each day with his wife of 13 years, Lillie.

The loves of his life were his beautiful daughters, Robyn and Rebecca. There was never a greater look of love and pride on his face than when he spoke of his precious girls.

Renell’s family was so special to him. Older brother to Dale, , Rickey, Phyllis and Keeley, you can bet there was never a dull moment in the Robert house!

And, his grandchildren…the pieces that made his heart whole. Sophia, Gavin, Cohen, Collin, Conner, Kaylee, Brady, Chloe Max and Bellamie…Poppa loves those babies more than sunshine.

Rob loved his Lord and Savior. His love for his children, grandchildren, beautiful wife and many family and friends was evident in his every action on his earthly journey. He knew his home was in Heaven. He was just passing through.

Renell “Rob” Robert, 78, of Denham Springs, went home to be with Jesus on November 5, 2025 surrounded by love. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Robert; daughters Robyn Elizabeth Robert Miller and husband Brian of Watson, Rebecca Elise Robert Ingram and husband Zack of Central; precious grandchildren Sophia and Gavin Miller, Collin and Connor Ingram, Kaylee Petty, Brady and Chloe Burkett, Max and Bellamie Stewart. His brothers Dale Robert and wife Brenda Robert, Rickey Robert and wife Becky Robert, Kirk Robert and wife Susan Robert, Keeley Robert and wife Beth and his precious sister, Phyllis.

Rob cherished his church family at Don Avenue Baptist Church, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends that he loved just like family and his grand kitties, Mouse, Marcy and the infamous Miss Kitty.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Lester Robert; loving wife of 36 years, Karen Cascio Robert; his grandson and precious angel, Cohen Ingram and Chip and Charlie, his grand dogs.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Don Avenue Baptist Church, 1010 Don Avenue, Denham Springs, LA on November 11, 2025 from 9 to 11 am for visitation. Graveside memorial to follow at Amite Baptist Church 7100 Amite Church Road, Denham Springs, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, Rob asks family and friends to donate to Tunnels to Towers and St Jude Children’s Hospital.
