Rita Roussel Roberts

Rita Roussel Roberts, 83, of Walker, LA, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. Rita was a devout Catholic and loved her hymns and daily prayers. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lesli Carter (Ronnie); son-in-law, Ernie Spiess; stepdaughter, Jolene Ott; stepson, Horace Roberts; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandson; 6 sisters; 1 brother; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lamar Roberts; son, Dale Verhein; daughters, LaRae Roberts and Lisa Spiess; parents, Ray and Rita Roussel; stepson, Joseph Roberts; grandson, Wayne Verhein; brother, Ray Roussel; and step son-in-law, Aaron Ott.
