Ritza Yojana Benitez born in Marcala, La Paz Honduras, passed away in Baton Rouge on May 26, 2026 at the age of 37.
After finishing college, she went on to be a secretary and a successful business owner of Ben’Sis Multiservices Inc., which brought her immense joy. Ritza cherished time with her family and loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. She had a passion for cooking and often shared her delicious meals with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and was always eager to see where her next adventure would take her. Ritza’s kind heart and loving soul will be missed dearly by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband Gerlin Jeremias Sanchez Molina; mother, Alba Luz Benitez; sons, Henry Gael Sanchez-Benitez and Liam Jaffett Sanchez-Benitez; sisters, Doris Yolanda Benitez, Thelma Aguilar and Mayra L Cruz; brothers, Angel Alexander Cruz, Jorge Luis Cruz Benitez; nieces, Sophie Aguilar, Lauren Cruz, Jennifer Cruz, Allison Rivera; nephews, Jayron Alvarado, Kevin A. Gonzalez, Leonardo Rendon, Matthew Cruz, Omar Aguilar, Diego Gonzalez, Jake Cruz and Jacob Cruz.
Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 3:00 PM-9:00 PM. The service will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11:00 AM and burial to immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Gerlin Jeremias Sanchez Molina, Angel Cruz, Jorge Cruz, Alex Gonzalez, Omar Aguilar and Elder Molin. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Gonzalez, Leonardo Rendon and Matthew Cruz.
The family would like to thank all family and friends for every prayer sent during this difficult time.
