Robert L. Pace, Jr.

Robert Lunsford Pace Jr., 80, died at his residence on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1945, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served from 1965 to 1969.

 He is survived by his three sons, Robert “Bobby” Pace III (Ivana), Joseph “Jay” Pace (Shannon), Danial “Pete” Pace (Hope); his honorary daughter, Sherry Cooper Jones (Phillip); a brother, Jerry Pace; nine grandchildren, David Hayes, Kacey Core, Robert “Brett” Pace IV (Jessica), Chi Pace (Lacy), Caleb Pace, Lee Chiasson, Taylor Pace, Ryan Jones, Jessica Jones. He is also survived by twelves great-grandchildren; Alexis and Cassidy Hayes, Westin and Bristol Core, Rustin, Reece, and Jette Pace, Adaline Pace, Aaliyah and Ary Chiasson, Conner King, and Hagen Lambert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pace; his parents, Robert L. Pace, Sr., and Helen Margaret Landry Hayman; and brother, Doug Hayman.

Family and friends will forever cherish the memories of Robert, who found his greatest happiness in the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or simply spending time outside, he created countless moments that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Services for loved ones will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Visitation begins 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
