Rodney Steven Bailey, Jr.

Rodney Steven Bailey, Jr., age 51, passed away July 8, 2026, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana. He grew up on Milldale Rd in Pride, Louisiana, and graduated from Northeast High School. Rodney was a true Louisiana outdoorsman and spent most of his days fishing and listening to his beloved country music. He was known for his outgoing personality and it was never strange for Rodney to “show-up” unannounced.

He is survived by three daughters: Loreal Renee Richardson, Hayden Paige Bailey, and Ashton Grace Bailey; his father: Rodney Steven Bailey, Sr.; a brother: Randy Todd Bailey; two nephews: Jason Michael Bailey and Steven Dale Gremillion and his children, Connor, Jordan, and Cambrey; three nieces: Sarah Ann Sanford, Taylor Danielle Bailey, and Lexie Renee Bailey; and other family and friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother: Lois Ann Bailey; and a sister: Amy Nicole Bailey.

Seale Funeral Service was entrusted with final care and arrangements. In the loving memory of their dad, his daughters are planning a private fishing trip in his memory. There will be no public services.
