Rodney Joseph Rillieux

Rodney Joseph Rillieux, 59, of Walker, LA passed away on March 6, 2026. Rodney was born on March 12th in New Orleans to Gayle Bonomo Provost and Dion Rillieux Sr. Rodney worked various kitchen positions throughout his life as he travelled throughout the South and up and down the East Coast. His most recent position he held was as a kitchen manager for 3 years. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.

He leaves behind three children whom he cherished, Joseph A. Pineiro, Brittany S. Robinson, and Patrick L. Dugan III, fiancé Alexis Payne, sisters Robin Rillieux Augustine and Elizabeth Rillieux, and brothers David Rillieux, James Aho, and Iyyob Rillieux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Marie Stinson, mother and father, Gayle Bonomo Provost and Dion Rillieux Sr., and brother Dion Rillieux Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery at 1:00pm.
