Ronald Smith

Ronald Smith went to be with the Lord on June 21,2025 at the age of 81. He was born January 6, 1944 in Houma, Louisiana and is a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He graduated from Istrouma High School. Ronald served in the Army and was stationed in Hawaii. He loved telling stories about his time in Hawaii. He retired from Exxon Plastic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ronald was a very big LSU Fan and never missed watching a game and loved telling many stories about his fishing trips.

Ronald is survived by his daughter Ronda Fairchild (Jamey), Grandchildren Emily Martin, Joshua Fairchild (Victoria), and Sydney Fairchild, Great grandson Samuel Ragas, Brother Clarence Smith, Brother-in-laws Robert Partin, Keith Partin (Tonia), Michael Partin (Samilea), and Seith Partin Jr. (Deanna), Sister-in-law Mary Jones (John) and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Ronald is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jo Ann Smith, infant son, Parents Edward and Mary Smith, Father and Mother-in-law Seith and Elena Partin, Brother Robert Smith, Sister Judy Partin, Brother-in-law Samuel Zito, and Sister-in-laws Louise Partin and Betty Zito.

A memorial visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Thursday July 10, 2025 beginning at 12 pm and a celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm. We miss him dearly.
