Ronald James Broussard

Ronald James Broussard passed away February 13, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 9, 1945 to his parents Wanzie Chaney and Luster Broussard. He worked as an electrician for many years before retiring. Ronnie enjoyed spending his time outdoors with hunting and fishing, and watching LSU sports. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

He is survived by three sons: David Broussard and wife Kellie, Steven Broussard and wife Sherri, and Murray Broussard; five grandchildren: Chase, Ashtin, Aubre, Avery, and Melanie; sister Denise Odum and husband Dale; brother Jeff Broussard and wife Janice.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Melanie Broussard, mother Wanzie Pourciau Chaney, and father Luster Broussard.
