Ronnie “Ron” E. Taylor, resident of Louisiana, passed at the age of 75 on August 25, 2026. He was born in Mobile, Alabama to his parents Roy Tillman Taylor and Dorothy Elizabeth Wiseman Taylor on November 2, 1950. He graduated from high school and worked as a computer technician for many years, as well as in the car industry. Ron was proud to serve his country in the United States Army for 4 years, from 1969 to 1973. After his service, he continued to be a member of the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Reserves for over 25 years. Ron was also a member of VFW and American Legion for many years. In his free-time, he was an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed both watching and racing his own cars. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him, and his joy will live on in those he leaves behind.

He is survived by brother Donnie G. Taylor Sr., nieces Debra Lynn Taylor and Sherrie Zaunbrecher, nephews Donne G. Taylor Jr., Darrel W. Taylor, Kevin Hill, and Emerson Mark Mayeaux, brother-in-law Larry E. Wheeler, and close friend Brian Ross.

He is preceded in passing by his wife Lois J. Taylor, parents Roy T. Taylor and Dorothy E. Taylor, sisters-in-law Dorothy O. Taylor and Bonnie E. Huerta, and niece Lisa Hill. 

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Information will be updated at that time.
