Roy Matthew Wale

Roy Matthew Wale, born January 26, 1956, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. He was a resident of Taylorville, Illinois and a native of Denham Springs. Roy was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed reading. He was known to help anyone he could who needed a helping hand. He was a graduate of Denham Springs High School, a United States Army veteran and a welder by trade. Roy was preceded in death by his wife Amy Siegert Wale, his parents Clyde & Esther T. Wale, grandparents Edward & Mary V. Wale and Wilson & Carrie Trepanier. He is survived by siblings Stephen E. Wale, Cynthia W Thibaut and husband Chip, Jeffrey (JJ) Wale and wife Beverly, Cissy W Treadaway and husband Warren, Don Wale and wife Frankie and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. A private memorial service will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
