Ruby Frances Bowie Jones

Ruby, 94, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026. She was a life long Christian and now rest in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She lived a long life marked by perserverence, quiet strength, and a deep love for her family. Ruby found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasures the memories she shared with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Edwin “Sonny” Jones, and will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Ruby is survived by her children: Stephen Howard, Vanessa “Hajar” Jones, Tommie Jones Russo, Paul Jones, James Robert “Robbie” Jones.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date, when she will be laid to rest beside her husband.

The family is grateful for the compassionate care shown to Ruby during her final days and appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
