Samuel Patrick Barber

Samuel P “Pat” Barber, 71 years old and a resident of Belle River, Louisiana passed away at his home on October 4, 2025. Born in Denham Springs, Pat was the son of the late William C and Eunice L (Sullivan) Barber. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Pat enjoyed sitting on his front porch watching the river go by and the occasional trip to the camp to run jug lines for catfish and alligator gar.

Pat is survived by his wife of 23 years Vickie P Barber, Aileen L Hubbell – previous wife of 25 ½ years and the mother of his children, Daughter-Melissa Coates (Sean Hebert), Grandchildren-Kelsey Coates, Holly Campagna (Ryan Campagna), Triston Dannehl, Lacey Barber and Tori Barber, Great-Grandchildren-Hunter Coates, Daphne Campagna and Chase Dannehl as well as a Sister-Carolyn Sims, and many nieces and nephews.

He is now reunited in peace with his parents-William and Eunice Barber, Son-Calvin Barber, Brothers- William C Barber Jr, Boyce Barber and Paul Barber.

Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, October 17, from 11 AM until services at 2 PM, the Rev. Carl Sullivan, officiating. Burial to follow at Faith Crossing/Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery, Walker.
