Sandra Ann Heintz Starks

Sandra Ann Heintz Starks, 79, of Watson, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026 after a brave hard fight with cancer. Born and raised in French Settlement, Louisiana, Sandra was a woman whose life was deeply rooted in faith, family, and the love she carried for others.

Sandra was the devoted wife of John W. Starks, Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of unwavering love and partnership. Together they raised two sons, John W. Starks, Jr. and Michael W. Starks, who were her pride and joy.

Fiercely devoted to her husband, her children, her family, and the Lord, Sandra lived her life with a purity of heart that touched everyone who knew her. She had the purest soul—gentle, open, and free of judgment. Her fun, friendly spirit could lighten any moment, and her kindness was felt by all who crossed her path.

Sandra was one of seven children and treasured the bond she shared with her siblings. She is preceded in death by her sisters Catherine Heintz and Annette Heintz, and by her brother Wallace Heintz. She is survived by her loving sisters Laura Heintz Harris, Betty Heintz Wilson, and Marion Heintz Louvierre, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Sandra’s warmth, her faith, and her capacity for love leave behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the joy, compassion, and goodness she brought into the world.
