Shan Michelle Owens passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1965, in Pierre, South Dakota.

She was a graduate of Tara High School. After high school she dedicated herself to a life of service, she worked seasonally at The Grand Canyon, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Shan was a faithful Christian and devoted her life to the Lord, she was a member of Journey Church. In her free time, she loved to fish, listen to all kinds of music, she loved to dance, but most of all she loved her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Amos.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan Dilley and Tyler Ourso; father, Warren (Brenda) Dilley; sisters, Shari Dilley, Sheila Rodrigue, and Suzanne Magee; brothers, Steven Dilley and Blaine Simons; nieces, Nikki Dilley, Brittany Dilley, MaKayla Guerin, Katelyn Dilley, Kenzi McMeekin, and Alannatt Ahlcrona; nephews, Corey Dilley, Scotty Dilley, Dylan (Miranda) Coffman, and Brytan Simons; great nephews, Caleb Dilley, Chance Lewis, Willey Coffman, Wyatt Coffman, Bennett, and Jaxon Dilley; great nieces, Aubree Coffman, Leigha, Neveah, and soon to be baby Guerin.

Preceded in death by her son, Aaron Hebert; mother, Carolyn Kay Lee; brothers, Kenneth Scott Dilley and Bryan Simons; grandmother, Francis Stirrat; and grandfather, Clifton (Mary) James.

Shan had many many people that she called family; they lovingly called her Aunt Shan. She will be deeply missed by her family....until we meet again.
