Sharon Ann King

Sharon Ann King, beloved fiancé, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and cherished friend, passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on July 20, 1959, Sharon brought love, warmth, and kindness into the lives of all who knew her. She was a loving woman who treasured her family and the memories they shared. Sharon will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.

Sharon is survived by fiancé Haynes Gordy, daughter by love Elizabeth Duskey (Daniel), grandchildren by love Aeris Green and Arwen Green, brothers Joe King (Fran), Donnie King (Donna), Dale King (Deone), Glenn King (Pat), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved son, Lester Richard, parents, Herbert King and Yvonne Latil, brothers Herbert (Wayne) King and Roy King. Though Sharon’s passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, her memory will live on through the many lives she touched. The love she shared, the memories she created, and the impact she made will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully Sharon. You are deeply loved, forever missed and will remain in our hearts always.

A memorial visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church of Denham Springs Saturday, August 15, 2026, starting at 2:00pm until time for the Celebration of Life at 3:00pm. Rev. Brian Coplin will officate.
